How are the listings verified?

We carefully curate and verify every listing featured on our platform. Our team conducts in-person visits to each location to ensure the space meets our standards and operates without issues. All photos displayed on the listings are taken directly by our team during these visits. Through this process, we ensure that all listings on our platform are thoroughly verified.

No. StayLocal does not require a security deposit for rentals. You can enter into a rental agreement without the burden of an upfront deposit.

Cancellations are based on the check-in time (KST). If cancellation is made before:

    • 30 days or more: Full Refund

    • at least 14 days but less than 30 days: 70% refund

    • at least 7 days but less than 14 days: 30% refund

    • less than 7 days before check-in : No refund is available

Refunds apply to the total amount of rent and service fees. (Cleaning fees are fully refunded in all cases.)

For monthly stays (30+), this policy applies only to the first 30 days of rent and service fees. (The remaining period is fully refundable.)

For reservation changes, guests must first contact the host to request a modification. If no agreement is reached, this cancellation policy will apply.

The general location is shown on the listing detail page. The full address will be provided by the host after your booking is confirmed.

No. In South Korea, short-term rental properties are legally distinguished from hotels and licensed accommodations. As a result, the provision of amenities such as towels, shampoo, and body wash is restricted and therefore not offered. All guests are required to bring their own personal amenities during their stay.

A basic cleaning is completed before your check-in. However, under local short-term rental regulations that distinguish lodging accommodations, cleaning services are not provided during your stay.
